The rooftop garden brought tranquility each morning. Fresh tea with a view of St Sebastian Church was a true pleasure. The entire guesthouse was super clean, and the strong WiFi helped manage travel plans effortlessly. The vibrant decor and cozy atmosphere added to the charm. Only wish the room had an electric kettle for tea. The bathroom's design could be better to prevent water pooling. Nevertheless, my time there was like home. Can't wait to return!

Cool hotel, freshly cooked breakfast, great value. Historic building and rooms with nice decoration. An air conditioning and a ceiling fan in the room. Good and amazing location in beautiful plants.

The breakfast is fresh and savoury with soft music, fresh bread plus juice, has everything you need. The best thing about this lovely old hotel is its ideal location close enough to the beautiful old Portuguese square : Fontainhas and the beautiful St Sebastian Chapel...

The centrally located Afonso Guest House allowed me to fully immerse myself in the local culture, attending mass and enjoying good meals at a nearby family-run restaurant.

The power outage during the night resulted in a warm and uncomfortable room, as the fan stopped working.

Thanks a lot, I thoroughly enjoyed the stay and will definitely visit place next time.

The bathrooms could use a more functional design, as the Indian style shower makes a mess!!! A little more attention to room size would be appreciated. Mine felt slightly cramped.

While the cleanliness and ambiance were commendable, the mattress was rather firm, which affected comfort during the nights. A lack of luggage storage was a bit inconvenient. Fresh home was good was good.

The afonso is a lovely place with a beautiful interior and a perfect location near the portuguese quarters of fontainhas. The highlight was the wonderful breakfast, with so many choices, and the staff's attention to detail.

Couldn't recommend more for a flying visit

Good ambiance, attentive service, the air conditioning kept the room cool while we enjoyed our breakfasts on the terrace and took advantage of the excellent WiFi for planning our local adventures with ease.

Entirely satisfied

Our stay was delightful, especially enjoying morning tea in the lovely terrace garden surrounded by greenery and charming little cats. The rooftop area was perfect for soaking up the sun and unwinding after a day of exploring. The pillows could've been a tad fluffier, but overall, it was a fantastic experience—don't miss the breakfast pancakes! ☕

A fantastic heritage home in the heart of Panjim that feels like stepping back in time! The rooftop terrace is a beautiful green garden where one can enjoy delicious breakfasts overlooking St Sebastian Chapel. Hosts Jeanette and Clifton were very good, suggesting local hotspots.
